A native North Floridian, Johnny Blue was born in Quincy, Florida in 1957 and graduated from Monroe High School in 1975. While working toward a degree in Political Science at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, he also played college football. He graduated in 1979 and married April Anderson from Birmingham, Alabama in 1981. He is the proud father of three teenagers and an avid fan of their activities: baseball, basketball, volleyball, track, music and drama.
Returning to North Florida in 1980 he began a career in commercial real estate which has spanned over three decades. After 10 successful years with the Commercial Division of Investors Realty during which he was named the company's Top Producer for five consecutive years, he founded his own company, Craig Commercial Realty, in 1990. He has consistently been recognized as a Multi-million dollar producer for the Tallahassee Board of REALTORS. Johnny Blue's career sales exceed $300 million and over 1000 real estate transactions, including:
